IN THE freewheeling days of 1973, Paula Ellis was an 18-year-old high-spirited girl from Miami, Florida and a freshman at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. On April 21, 1973 Paula left her residence at Martha Parham Hall rode her bike to a midnight concert by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. On Easter Sunday--the next day--her body was found 10 miles away. She had been strangled and dumped from a bridge. No one has ever been arrested in this terrible murder. If you have any information regarding this case, please contact
