MARY FRIEND, MOM MAXINE STALNAKER LIKELY DEAD

NOTHING. NADA. ZIP. That is precisely what cops in West Virginia have in the bizarre disappearances of Mary Friend and her mom Marcus Maxine Stalnaker. The pair were last seen at their house near Jane Lew on December 1, 1999. Mary's hubby was working in Maryland and when he arrived home two days later he reported both women missing. Mary's car, a 1987 gray Chev Celebrity found abandoned Dec. 6, 1999. There was no sign of foul play and no evidence was recovered. But Maxine's
new Doberman was found dead under their house.  A fisherman found a purse in Stonewall Jackson Lake in 2002, that contained articles belonging to both women. An extensive search found nothing in the lake. Apparently cops have persons of interest in the case and it's believed both women are dead.
If you have any information contact the FBI or your local authorities.
