NEARLY 20 years after Lynette Nancy Gibson was murdered in Saginaw, Michigan, her killer has been convicted. Rodney Alton Slayton, 45, was found guilty in the grisly 1992 homicide. Gibson's body was found in the parking lot of a bar. A 35-year-old mother of five, her body was barely clothed on that frigid February night. She had been raped and strangled and years later cops linked his semen to Gibson.
