AMBER ELIZABETH SCHOLZ STILL A MYSTERY 30-YEARS ON

WITHOUT TRACE
IT'S been 30-years since she vanished, but cops are refusing to give up on the case of Amber Elizabeth Scholz.
On November 8, 1981 the gorgeous 21-year-old had been partying with pals and was dropped of by a friend at her Rock Spring, WY apartment.
She was never seen again.
Scholz's father called the police when he was unable to reach his daughter later that day, but when officers called round, there was no sign of forced entry or a struggle.
A police source said: "It's a genuine mystery. There was nothing out of the ordinary about her home and her friends said she seemed fine when they dropped her off.
"We'll not let this case go though. It will always remain open and we want to solve it, as much as anything to find out what happened."

Oddly however, while they found her wallet and an uncashed paycheck her car, a 1971 Oldsmobile two-door couple with WY plates, 4-93AW was gone.
It has never been recovered.
At the time she was involved in a custody battle over her son with her ex-husband, but there was never any suggestion that he was involved in her death.
Anyone with information on this case, please contact the Rock Springs Police Department on 307 352 1575.

  1. Thank you for posting. The Scholz Family appreciates all the efforts that are being made to find my sister. 30 years is too long and all we want is for her to come home so that we can give her a proper burial and a place to visit so that we can grieve for her. She is deeply missed. We are not interested in who is involved with her disappearance as we firmly believe in God in that he knows who they are and that HIS justice will prevail in the end. I pray everyday for the souls involved that they might have a change in heart and come forward or if anyone has any information on this case to come forward and do the right thing. Thank you. The Family of Amber E. Scholz

    1. Please visit the Facebook page missing and I identified. There are many people who think a Jane doe from 1981 may be your sister. Best of luck!
