MELISSA HASKELL SMOTHERED BABY IN '92: COPS

FOR NEARLY 20 years a Pennsylvania woman got away with murder but on Monday, her run from justice came to an end. Melissa Haskell, 38, of Bridgeport was charged with third-degree murder in the death of Ryan Baurley, who was just 5-months-old in 1992.
The baby's dad Michael said of the arrest: "The very recent developments in this investigation has once again ripped open the wounds that are very difficult to heal for our family."

CHRISTY ANN MIRACK CASE HAS VEXED FBI SINCE '92

FOR ALMOST 20 years the cold case murder has vexed the FBI and local law enforcement. Just days before Christmas, Christy Ann Mirack was raped and murdered. It was Dec. 21, 1992 and the pretty young teacher in Lancaster, PA. was looking forward to the break--even though she loved her job.
