PROSECUTORS and cops in Oakland County, Michigan have enjoyed some recent success in closing cold cases. But dozens of case remain open, according to the Detroit Free Press. Among them:
OAKLAND COUNTY CHILD KILLER: Four children were killed between 1976 and 1977 and cops believe they are connected. The victims of the Oakland County Child Killer were Mark Stebbins, 12, of Ferndale; Jill Robinson, 12, of Royal Oak; Kristine Mihelich, 10, of Berkley, and Timothy King, 11, of Birmingham. A felon from Kalamazoo is under investigation because his DNA is similar to that taken from a hair found on Mihelich's body.
